I’ve learned so much about resilience and flexibility from our couples this year. 2020 has thrown so many challenges at each and every one of them. Devon and Joe were no exception to the rule. They arranged and rearranged their plans multiple times over the course of this year. They went from a large venue to a backyard tented wedding, and honestly I think it ended up being even more gorgeous and perfect than their original plans!

Devon and Joe transformed Joe’s family home, affectionately called The Ponderosa, into a gorgeous wedding venue for the day! They had their ceremony under a stunning arbor in one of the fields, cocktail hour on their deck, and the prettiest tented wedding reception in a beautifully lit tent in the backyard! They had the most perfect fall weather, and gorgeous sunlight all day long!

The real beauty of this wedding day was truly the love between Joe and Dev. Their love is so genuine and so pure and so full of joy. The way that Joe looks at Devon will melt your heart, and the two of them constantly keep each other laughing.

There was an abundance of happy tears from all sides of the family throughout the day, and you better believe I cried behind my camera so many times!

Their wedding reception was a PARTY!!!!! They had food trucks, a big band, and a group of people who knew how to dance and dance well! They drank and laughed and danced the night away! It was just the best!
