Couples in love are my favorite. Couples in love that bring their pups to engagement sessions?? Favorite times 1000!

Jesse and I got to meet Shannon and Brian, one of our 2021 couples, last week for their engagement session and it was a dream! We have had the best weather for our engagement sessions the past couple weeks! Shannon and Brian brought their sweet pup Rey, who was an absolute angel during their session! They also brought Shannon’s sweet sister who was kind enough to take care of Rey during their session.

We had their engagement session at Prophecy Creek Park, which is always a favorite location for me! Shannon got her gorgeous dress from Lulus, which is where I got my dress for our anniversary session last year! (Side note to my Brides, if you’re looking for engagement session/bridal shower/bachelorette party outfits, Lulus is a great option!)

I’ve said it before and I’ll most likely say it a thousand more times: the goal of every engagement session for me is to get our couples comfortable in front of the camera. It’s always awkward being the “models” unless modeling is literally your job. So when your wedding day rolls around, we want our couples to feel ready to rock their portrait time. And wouldn’t you know, when our session was over, Brian said he felt more than ready for picture time on their wedding day! Mission accomplished!!
