A Bear Creek Resort Fall Wedding | Mr. and Mrs. Kurtz

This Bear Creek Resort fall wedding day was so sweet and filled with emotion and bone chillingly COLD!!!

Kerry and Mike got ready in their separate hotels with their friends and family and then headed over to Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church for their ceremony. I’ve been to so many different types of ceremonies but this was my first Russian Orthodox one. I love seeing the different traditions each religion brings into their ceremony.

There was an absolutely downpour during the morning and during their ceremony, but right as their ceremony ended the rain cleared out and we had the prettiest sunshine! It was still freezing but Mike, Kerry and their bridal party handled portrait time like champs! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it a million more times, having a good bridal party can absolutely make or break a wedding day. This crew did a fantastic job rallying around Kerry and Mike, especially during our chilly portrait time at Bear Creek!

Mike’s original best man was unfortunately unable to be at the wedding as he was recovering from COVID, but he recorded the sweetest speech to make sure he was there in spirit. Kerry and her dad shared the most joyful father/daughter dance that left everyone with a huge smile on their faces!
