Mr. + Mrs. Germano | A Backyard Intimate Wedding

Intimate weddings are quickly becoming my favorite.

For most of our couples, having an intimate wedding was not their original plan. It was plan B (or sometimes C) after COVID wreaked havoc on their original plans. But I love the shift of focus that comes with these small, casual affairs. Instead of the focus being on the pomp and circumstance of the day, all of the focus is on the love and union between the couple.

Vicky and Mike waited a long, long time for their wedding day. 14 years to the day to be exact. They had the most perfect fall weather for their day. They had their ceremony in Vicky’s parents backyard. Vicky and Mike included their sweet pups, Crixus and Pheobe, in their ceremony, and read precious, personalized vows to each other. Their two families fit together so seamlessly and they had a big, family style dinner on the back patio for their reception.
