I can’t believe I’m blogging an engagement session. Because if I’m blogging an engagement session, that means I shot an engagement session. And there have been several moments in 2020 that I was pretty sure I’d never get to shoot again. BUT HERE WE ARE!!!!! What a year this has been, amiright?! It’s been a doozy. But shooting again means that we’re headed in the right direction!
Full disclosure: I got SUPER nervous about 6 minutes before Chelsea and Jason showed up for their session. I’ve been taking pictures of only cows and flowers for the past 3 months. But it dawned on me when she text me to let me know that they were about 6 minutes out that I was going to be working with REAL PEOPLE again. Que all the butterflies and maybe a little nervous sweating. But that was quickly replaced by all the giddy feelings I get when I’m capturing a new love story!
Chelsea and Jason are the absolute SWEETEST! We had the best time walking around Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, during their engagement session and just chatting and getting to know them! They made my first shoot back a total dream! So much joy and laughter!
Their session was original scheduled for a few days earlier, but the weather was looking a little finicky so we postponed a couple days. Best decision ever. We truly couldn’t have asked for better weather. It was high 70’s and sunny which is honestly my version of heaven.
We can’t wait to celebrate at Chelsea and Jason’s wedding in October!! They’ll be getting married at River House at Odette’s and we absolutely cannot wait for their day!!
