Sam + Ryan | A Winter Wedding at Normandy Farms

We kicked off our 2020 wedding season with a gorgeous winter wedding for Samantha and Ryan! They had their wedding day at the beautiful Normandy Farms in Blue Bell, PA.

Sam + Ryan’s day was equal parts freezing + snowy + romantic + elegant. This day was truly a dream come true. (Last time I had them in front of my camera was a *little* bit warmer!!) But honestly, I think that winter weddings might just be my new favorite thing!

Samantha and Ryan were surrounded by an incredibly sweet group of their closest friends all day. Both sides of their bridal party were truly amazing. It was absolutely FREEZING outside (I’m talking wind chill of 17 degrees, freezing) and not a single person in this entire bridal party complained! We were so thankful to work with such a great group of people!

And did I happen to mention that this day had THREE first looks??? And every single one of them was precious, but the second one had me cracking up!! (Scroll through the images to see it!)

I have a million favorite things on a wedding day, but one of my favorite parts of weddings is seeing all of the sentimental and personalized items that our couples incorporate into their day. For example, the bracelet that Samantha wore was from a wedding day “advent” calendar that one of her bridesmaids made for her. There were handwritten letters that the bride and groom wrote to each other, a book of memories and letters from the bridesmaids, memory filled toasts from the matrons of honor and best man and even a life size cut out of their sweet pup so that he was included in the reception!

Jesse and I loved every single part of this beautiful day! We are so thankful that Samantha and Ryan, as well as their families and bridal party, trusted us to capture this special day for them! This winter wedding was such a perfect way to kick off our 2020, and our new decade!
