I’ve probably never hoped for overcast skies for a session before, but for this session that’s all I wanted! For 2 full days before this session we had sooo.much.rain. We also had a flash flood warning that didn’t end until about 3 hours before their session was supposed to start. I crossed my fingers + prayed so hard that the rain would stay at only a drizzle because we can work with a yucky overcast day, but not with torrential rain, and I didn’t want to have to cancel this session!

Instead of a cloudy, drizzly session, the weather cleared up and we got absolutely gorgeous sunshine, the nicest breeze + 70 degree weather!!!!!

Also, thanks to all of that rain, all of the trees had beautiful blooms and we had beautiful Cherry Blossoms that alllll of my spring engagement session dreams are made of!!

We loved getting to know Courtney + Isaac better during their session! They’re just the sweetest together! And they were great sports about having to tiptoe through fields that turned into ponds because of the rain!

I’m forever grateful that our couples trust us unconditionally to capture their love stories. We cannot wait for their June wedding!!
