Folino Estate Winery Wedding | Mr. + Mrs. Raquet

This Folino Estate Winery Wedding has been a long time in the making! Two summers ago I went to Folino for brunch for the first time. It was just beautiful and I told Jesse at least 10 times, “I want to shoot a wedding here!!” A week and a half later I received Tori and Nico’s wedding inquiry and I just knew it was meant to be!!

Tori and Nico had a long fought battle to get to this wedding day. They met and fell in love in college, but Nico is from France, so after college he had to go back while he waited for his visa. He came back for a visit, proposed to Tori, and then had to go back to France to wait some more. They were separated for 411 days during their engagement before his visa was approved. Nico was finally able to be back in the US so they started planning their wedding day for August of 2020. And then COVID happened. And they had to postpone their wedding. So they had to wait even longer. Fast forward to this past weekend, and the day FINALLY arrived!!!

After a week of calling for rain on and off, we showed up to Folino Estate to full sunshine and a gorgeous day! Unfortunately, due to current travel restrictions, Nico’s family was unable to travel to the US from France to attend the wedding in person. They were able to watch the entire wedding via Zoom, and there were so many sweet touches from both sides of the family throughout the day. Nico’s dad pre-recorded a song he had written for them. Tori’s dad learned a few sentences in French to share with Nico’s family. Nico shared his Mother/Son dance with Tori’s mom. And there was not a dry eye in the place.

During their first look, Nico and Tori chose to read private vows to each other. They sat in the Vineyard at Folino and said words they’ve waited literal years to say. Each moment of this wedding day was surrounded by so much love.

Mr. and Mrs. Raquet, Jesse and I are beyond thrilled that you’re finally married!! Thank you for letting us be a part of this beautiful season in your lives. We adore you both, and we can’t wait to see where life takes you! Enjoy your honeymoon in France!!
