Jesse and I took a little trip to Assateague Virginia recently, and if you’ve never been there I highly recommend going! We wanted to get away for a couple days of downtime before busy season kicked in and Chincoteague and Assateague were the perfect spots for it!

During our stay in Assateague we had a few sessions, and this beach maternity session was one of them! I was a tiny bit worried because there was pretty high chance of rain, but it was our only opportunity since we were leaving the next morning. So we decided to just go for it, rain or shine! It only sprinkled a few little drops and the sun even peeked out for a minute!

Molly and Tom were just the sweetest and we had a wonderful time getting to walk along the beach and get to know them a little bit! This is baby number 3 for them and this Mama was just glowing!!

We were pretty close to the end of our session when out of nowhere a whole school of dolphins started jumping around in the water behind us! Let me tell you, I absolutely FLIPPED OUT. I have never seen a dolphin in person before so I was just absolutely AMAZED. (Scroll down to see one of them jumping!)
