I am a homebody, through and through. Home is truly my most favorite place on the planet. So the answer to, “Will you take pictures of us in our home?” is always a resounding “YES!!”. Home, to me, is a place of peace and contentment. It’s the place where the outside world just melts away. It’s where you can be the most honest version of yourself. Home is where the good memories are made.

All of that to say: In home sessions are my jam.

Anna reached out and told me that she and Jeremy had bought a new home. SO exciting!!! But she really wanted pictures of her and Jeremy and their sweet pup, Thor, in the first place they called home. Due to chaotic schedules, by the time their session came around they had moved all of their furniture to their new place. So they got cozy on the floor, snuggled up their pup, and danced in the empty living room to their first dance song.

I captured their engagement session in March of last year, and it felt so special to have them in front of my camera again, on yet another important chapter in their lives.

I hope they treasure the memories they made in this house for a lifetime!

Congratulations on your new home Anna, Jeremy and Thor! I hope it brings you so much joy and happiness in the years to come!
