We are so thankful to have captured Amanda and John’s wedding this past Sunday! We met them last year in November for their engagement shoot and almost froze to death! Thankfully, their wedding day was a *little* less cold, but still pretty chilly. In spite of the chill, Amanda and John were troopers AGAIN and didn’t bat an eye at the coldness! In the words of Elsa, the cold never bothered them anyway!!! 😉 They stayed cozy and snuggled up the whole time!
They both had a little bit of nerves going on while they got ready, but as soon as they saw each other for their first look, all of that melted away and it was obvious these two fit together perfectly. There are all kinds of different reactions we see with first looks. These two radiated comfort and joy with one another. It was so precious to watch!
The warmth and joy didn’t stop there though! The sweet couple’s friends and family were so kind and loving – you can tell Amanda and John mean so much to them. Amanda’s sorority sisters even sang John a song at the reception! Their reception was filled with so many small, personal touches of their favorite things: cheese-steaks, different types of mini desserts since neither of them love cake, their favorite beers, and several people streaming the Eagles game. 😉
We’re so blessed to photograph couples who are in love and who are surrounded by people who love them. This “job” doesn’t get old!
Amanda and John, we’re so grateful that you allowed us to be a part of your day! Hope you’re loving your first week as Mr. and Mrs!!!
Enjoy a glimpse at their wedding day below!
