This session made me cry a little bit. Not for any bad reasons, but just because I’m an emotional sap!
Erika is seriously SUCH a gorgeous Mama-to-be! Their sweet baby girl is due in August!
This session was THE BEST. I adored watching this family with their brand new baby girl! Also, I loved hearing their version of “Pout-Pout Fish” (all of the voices and accents included!!!)
I’d like to start this blog with a shout out to my super loving and ever patient husband/second-shooter for not freaking out when we were driving to the location and I yelled, “STOP!!! I NEED TO PICK SOME OF THOSE FLOWERS ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!!”.
Babies are seriously some of my favorite people to capture. All of that tiny, brand new-ness, the crunchy skin, the itty-bitty toes and more realistically the crying.
I’m forever amazed by how intricate the human body is. How finite and particularly laid out every blood vessel and artery is. How every single cell has a specific purpose. How every breath and heartbeat are so necessary but not even thought about.
You know that happy feeling when something you’ve been planning/dreaming about for awhile FINALLY happens??? That’s how I feel about spring and all of the spring sessions that are finally happening.
I got to take their first sons newborn pictures, their fall family pictures, this session celebrating a new baby boy, and in a few weeks when that baby boy gets here, I’ll get to capture memories of him as well!
In-home sessions have stolen my heart lately. I used to be scared of them because light is limited but, it’s all about using the light that you do have to your advantage.
