I think that one of the best parts of being a photographer is watching families change and grow over the years and being able to capture life and love in different stages. Sometimes it’s watching growth from an engagement session to a wedding. Sometimes it’s a newborn session to a one year session. Other times I have people that return year after year for birthday pictures.
For Jon and Diane, I got to take their first sons newborn pictures, their fall family pictures, this session celebrating a new baby boy, and in a few weeks when that baby boy gets here, I’ll get to capture memories of him as well!
I got a little bit teary eyed while I was working through the edits of this session, because not only do I get to see them grow and change over the years, but I get to see my own growth as a photographer through their images. It’s crazy to look back at that first session I did with them and see how big their little boy is now! He’s got so much personality, the cutest little smile and eyes that are full of mischief!
Congratulations on your newest addition you guys! Can’t wait to meet him!
Love, Jeannie
It’s so sweet that you’ve gotten to watch this little family grow!! Isn’t it the best?! Beautiful session! xx
What a beautiful family! And I so agree with you! Isn’t amazing to see a family grow!
Beautiful Images! I bet this family loves them!
Ugh Jeannie these are so good! I loved all the emotion you captured and THAT LIGHT!!! Swooooooon.
That’s my favorite as well- being a true part of a growing family, getting Christmas cards every year, and getting to know them so so well! These photos reflect that you’re a part of their family <3
